LatAm Trade Show 2025 expands business opportunities for Dominicans in Florida

Tampa, Florida.- The LatAm Trade Show 2025, held from February 11 to 13 in Orlando and Tampa, Florida, reinforced its role in promoting Dominican products internationally. Organized by the consulates of the Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Colombia in Orlando, the event attracted over 180 entrepreneurs from sectors such as agribusiness, technology, health, food, tobacco, and beverages. More than 600 businesspeople gathered at the Port of Tampa Bay to establish key commercial connections, with over 140 business meetings conducted. Dominican Consul Francisco Holi Matos emphasized the event’s significance in driving economic growth and strengthening international trade.
The fair facilitated strategic agreements for Dominican companies, with participants like Clistene Batista from Neithan Group showcasing tropical fruit products and Néstor Mateo from Mather Agroindustrial exploring logistics for expansion in Orlando. Other exhibitors, including Camilo Labs and Diversas Armidis, highlighted their success in securing new distribution opportunities. The Dominican government reaffirmed its commitment to supporting local industries, ensuring continued access to global markets.
The event featured workshops on conducting business in Florida and U.S. FDA regulations. It also provided a platform for Dominican businesses to engage with major distributors such as Walmart, Bravo Super Market, and Festival Latin Food. Supported by the Dominican government, Banco de Reservas, ProDominicana, and other institutions, the LatAm Trade Show 2025 solidified its role as a key bridge for Latin American trade with the U.S.
